Ground floor. From old Egypt till the Amarnsky era

The exposition is organised in more or less sustained chronological order therefore, going clockwise from an entrance on external galleries, you will pass through the Ancient, Average and New kingdom, and end survey Late and Greek-Roman the periods in east wing. It is true proceeding from belief which the history of Egypt and art criticism, but very torturing approach assumes. More ordinary way of survey than to learn, what beaches in Egypt, consists in passing through the Atrium which clasps all era of a civilisation of Pharaohs for which starenky Egypt was known, to a fine hall of the Amarnsky era in a northern wing and to return and pass through departments which are more interesting to you later, or to rise by the 2nd floor on an exhibition devoted to Tutankhamun. To cover both options, we have divided a ground floor into 6 sections: Atrium, Ancient, Average and New kingdom, hall of the Amarnsky era and east wing. As though you have not solved, what to choose round to Egypt or a route in a museum, it is necessary to begin with the foyer of the Atrium (halls No. 43) where the narration about dynasties of Pharaohs begins.

Normally choose the plan of visit of the Egyptian museum ordered rounds to Egypt from Boats.
